In a recent announcement by the Shenzhen Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Service Bureau, a total of 4,020 companies were recognized as innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Shenzhen for the year 2024.

Among these, Guangming District stood out with 339 businesses making the list, securing the fifth position in terms of quantity across the city.

These high-quality enterprises are distinguished by their robust capacities for innovation in products, technology, management, and business models. Focusing on niche markets with promising growth opportunities, the recognized companies are divided into three tiers: innovative SMEs, sophisticated and specialized SMEs, and specialized "Little Giant" enterprises.

They showcase specialized, refined, and distinctive developmental traits within their respective sectors, holding crucial positions in the industrial supply chain. These enterprises play key roles in bolstering stability and competitiveness within the industrial supply chain, driving high-quality economic advancement, and fostering a new development paradigm. They serve as indispensable wellsprings of innovation and fundamental drivers behind job creation and balanced regional economic progress.

Shenzhen stands as a bustling hub for small and micro-enterprises. Specialized and innovative enterprises form a cornerstone of the city's economic structure, propelling industrial structure optimization and premium economic growth.
