In Shenzhen, the Small and Medium Enterprise Service Bureau has unveiled the sixth installment of the specialized and sophisticated "Little Giant" enterprise list, with a total of 298 companies from the city making the cut. Among them, 33 standout companies hail from Guangming District.
The selected enterprises from Guangming span various sectors including high-end medical equipment, high-definition video display, and smart terminals. Leading the charge with cutting-edge technologies and products in their respective industries are companies like Shenzhen Mindray Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Kstar New Energy Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Weiguang Biotech Co., Ltd. These companies not only infuse fresh vigor into Guangming District's economic landscape and Shenzhen as a whole but also play a pivotal role in the industrial transformation and upgrading in the region.
Known for its robust industrial ecosystem and ample resources, Guangming serves as a cornerstone for the rapid growth of enterprises. With a keen emphasis on the real economy, the district actively supports the innovation and advancement of premium enterprises. Over the years, Guangming District has steered its focus towards optimizing its industrial structure and escalating industrial evolution, particularly by nurturing small and medium-sized enterprises towards specialization, refinement, diversification, and innovation prowess. Prior to this announcement, the district boasted 56 specialized and sophisticated "Little Giant" enterprise, 958 specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises, and 1,689 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, marking commendable rankings across various sectors.
Amidst stringent scrutiny from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Shenzhen unveiled 298 "Little Giant" companies this year, a slight decline from the 309 in 2023; noteworthily, Guangming District saw an upsurge from 26 approved companies last year to 33 this year.
To further bolster the growth trajectory of small and medium-sized enterprises, the district has rolled out a suite of policy measures encompassing subsidies, tax incentives, financial services, talent acquisition, spatial assurances, supply-demand alignments, and other supportive mechanisms. These initiatives collectively nurture a conducive business milieu, effectively nurturing the flourishing of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region.
